On March 7th, Mini Maven celebrated the launch of their inaugural print issue with an amazing event hosted by Ron Robinson in Santa Monica. Most of the mini models that have been featured over the last year in Mini Maven were in attendance, including Wynn. An interactive fashion show ensued with several of them wearing the latest in Spring 2016 fashion, provided by Ron Robinson and styled by Heather Rome.
Party goers were given the opportunity to get their hair, makeup and photos taken along with being served several mini treats throughout the day! A portion of the event’s sales were donated to the Alliance for Children’s Rights, an organization that protects the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth so that they have safe, stable homes, healthcare and the education they need to thrive.
Just in case you’ve been on the hunt for the coolest in kids fashion for Spring 2016, Ron Robinson nailed it once again. Showing off but a handful of the brands they carry, and on their best model behavior, these mini stars can testify to the cool, calm & collected factors for Molo, NuNuNu, Les Tout Petits, Modern Queen Kids, Yosi Samra, Native Shoes & more.
A special thank you to Mini Maven & Ron Robinson for a Sunday well spent!

Created in 2007 by three women in Barcelona, Yporque designs their clothing to reflect the creative side of children’s minds and at the same time appeals to their senses with the softest of fabrics and supremely tailored fits.

Thank you Yporque for keeping the thrill alive in the world of kids fashion!

It is without a doubt, a difficult process when selecting a suit for young boys. First and foremost is the comfort factor heavily followed by the fit.
Freshly launched for Spring16 comes NY-based, T.O. Collection with an amazing array of suits offered in a multitude of easy to wear, high fashion colors in fabrics that are soft and silky with an impeccably tailored fit. With five children of their own, the designers behind T.O. Collection certainly understand boys fashion and “get it” when it comes to what children will or will not wear. Wynn is of no exception so I am extremely pleased to report that both of these suits met his “Cool, Calm & Collected” criteria with ease!
An important aspect to remember when selecting a suit for your son (or daughter since girls look absolutely adorable in them), is the fit. Resist the urge to buy big so “they grow into it”, this only results in a frumpy old man look – far from what you should be attempting to achieve. Remind yourselves that suits are versatile and should not be held hostage in their closets for only special occasions. Style the blazer over any tee with denim for a polished, casual look and mix the pants with a brightly-colored button down for a non-denim, non-sweatpants type of day or night!
