The absolute best time of the year for fashion and style is quickly approaching. Fall fashion allows for layers upon layers, pops of fire based colors, chunky well loved, well worn boots, tattered yet sophisticated scarves and hats. Fall is by far our most favorite of all the seasons and even though we live in Los Angeles, we seek out the spaces that resemble it in appearance.
Our first looks come from a far away land, across the pond in Germany.
Infantium Victoria, founded 2014 by Julia Gaydina and Dinie van den Heuvel, specializes in the design of high-end organic and vegan fashion for kids.
Influenced by a deep fascination for romantic themes and nostalgia, Infantium Victoria offers a true alternative to mainstream fast-fashion – not only aesthetically but also ethically.
Romantic hues of Fall. Lush hunter green velvet blazer by Infantium Victoria is an artistic interpretation of the beloved Chesterfield Sofa. It’s padded with organic kapok and lined with fine cotton poplin. This is the statement piece that will bring every Fall thru Winter outfit they wear to the forefront of style.

*Wynn is 4’8 for sizing reference he is wearing size 12 in the blazer and jumpsuit. For jumpsuit, we suggest a size down as it runs generous.
BRONSON CANYON PARK, LOS ANGELES – AUGUST 2018
“Crispy flame-colored leaves dancing in the cool autumn air”…that’s not my name anymore. I am no longer a participant in the gorgeously changing four seasons. LA is a continuous groundhog day with a very short shot of cold air that is hopefully coming soon. Last weekend we had the extreme pleasure of visiting Scottsdale, Arizona to attend & participate in the Kids Rock the Runway fashion show hosted by Cheeky Chic Baby Boutique and Scoop by Morgan Cooper. After the show we went exploring in the desert since Wynn is fascinated with cactus (no clue why and I didn’t even bother asking). While at the show, we were thrilled to meet up again with the creatives behind Baby Teith clothing. Not only are they beyond talented with their designs and meticulous selection of only the softest of fabrics, Tiffe & Keith (along with their ever so lovely daughter, Violet) had brought Wynn 3 custom beanies! We are also thrilled to report that they are currently working on a larger size range! Now back to Wild West Style for those of us that live in the warmer climates…Accessorize! When it’s too hot for long layers, try a vest and beanie. Keep the cool shoes regardless of the temps because after all there is absolutely nothing cooler than chunky boots and funky socks.
Wynn is wearing NuNuNu 80’s sleevless sweat & vest; Petit by Sofie Schnoor pants; Baby Teith beanie & Dr. Marten’s in my favorite flavor, cherry red. For more information and to explore the galactic world of Baby Teith, visit their website here. They are also socially active on Instagram and Facebook so be sure to follow them for specials and new collections!
Coming up next, we rock the runway for Cheeky Chic & Scoop by Morgan featuring several of our favorite designers!

Hype365Brand has emerged on the kids fashion scene quietly and patiently waiting to rock their way into your kids wardrobes. Owner and designer, Tiffany Turner has been underground focusing on the various music, creativity & lifestyle designs that go directly from her fashion-minded heart onto kids tees and hats (appliqued sweatshirts are coming for Fall).
Hip, Young, Prosperous, Extraordinary or Hype was inspired by Tiffany’s two sons (Dante & Kobi) paired with her personal love for skater/street/hip hop culture. Several items in her shop are OOAK (one of a kind) not to be imitated or duplicated for those kids that prefer rocking fashion that will only be seen on them. Hype365Brand dedicates it’s vibrant colors and creative designs to those kids that live off the wall.
Every piece that Hype365Brand sells has been handmade and designed by Tiffany herself and all screen printing is done by her close friend. The fabric pieces are lovingly stitched on in various creative ways and all hats are hand-painted.
Hype365Brand has provided us with 3 of their tees to give away to our friends: Adult Medium green Skate tee; Child Medium (8/10) yellow Hype Gamer tee and Child Medium (8/10) black Hype Logo tee. Wynn & Nate are wearing Child Small (6/7) and are both approximately 47″ tall. You may enter two ways either thru the rafflecopter listed below OR via Instagram by reposting ANY of the images on our IG account showing Wynn & Nate wearing Hype365Brand with hashtag #hype365 and we of course want you to tag us and a friend when you repost! We spent our 1st day of Spring under a blanket of snow but old man winter has been given his eviction notice and we have chosen to close our eyes & dream of the smell of freshly cut grass, the sweet sound of the birds singing & much warmer temperatures. The forecast for Spring style based on many kids fashion collections that we have gushed over is deeply saturated colors with very few pastels being seen. Great news for those of us, like myself, who actually prefer the dark over the light. Having said all this, the lightest shade (sans white) we are connecting with for our own Spring/Summer wardrobe is chambray – an almost denim-washed out sorta blue that magically meshes with every other color imaginable. As luck would have it, Appaman presents our favorite go-to Mod Suit year after year in…yes Chambray.
We are painfully aware that many of you include a suit into your kids wardrobe based solely on a special occasion coming up and once that occasion has ended the suit hangs in the dark, lonely and confused as to what it did to deserve only that one shot at success. “Saving it for Good” something my Grandmother would do and seriously, why?!? Isn’t every day a Good Day? It should also be noted that Appaman’s Mod Suit is…wait for it, Machine Washable (dry flat to retain its fabulous shape). The Fancy, presented above and the usual suspect way of wearing a suit. Wynn’s style is played out with a white Crewcuts dress shirt, Liberty of London for Crewcuts floral print tie (love) & classic Crewcuts wingtips.
For those chappy fun times like trips to the museum, city exploring or even a casual afternoon lunch at a real restaurant (introduce them early to finer dining, they will thank you later when they go on their first date). We’ve styled our Appaman Mod Suit with a Bobo Choses graphic tee, black Timberland boots & added in our funky Pilot hat.
Snap back to reality, this slim shady here prefers Cool, Calm & Collected. Appaman’s Mod Suit owns all three of those licks and proves it every season. We’ve put our Mod Suit blazer over a Mini & Maximus hooded tee, Zara denim jeans, Doc Marten boots & H&M baller cap.
Beverly Hills or Main Street USA, for those of you that breathe the sixteen candles lifestyle this one’s for you! Appaman Mod Suit pants paired with Crewcuts pindot button down & Primigi black patent loafers. Socks or no Socks? Totally up to you, true preppies go sock free.
A weekend at Bernie’s or a backyard summer bbq calls for the tropical flavor of florals. Keep it classy by still wearing your Appaman Mod Suit. Push up the sleeves, roll up the pants – we’ve styled ours with this Hawaiian-inspired number by Furious Kingston and while you can’t see his feet he is wearing his Crewcuts wingtips with the pants rolled up – twice!
The dock of the bay, afternoon walks on the beach (still too cold to swim) or an outing with the grandparents (take me to the zoo please), we all know how much the grandparents love to see your kids in something other than a tee & jeans. Spiff them up and maybe they will take them out more often (score!). Wynn wears the pants (pun intended) with his Scotch Shrunk C’Mon floral print tee, Milk & Soda straw fedora with Livie & Luca sandals.
6 ways to wear it…..now stop saving it for good! Our favorite boutique since 2008 for Appaman is The Boys Store and they are currently offering 35% off all New Spring Arrivals (including Appaman’s mod suit) with code Spring14. Tell them we sent ya.
*for sizing reference, Wynn is wearing a size 7 Appaman Mod Suit (wee bit roomy however ours will not feel the warmth of Spring until May which is when us blokes in the Midwest actually have “spring” temps).
Continuing on and not stopping all Rocktober long! Feeling Fall – Style Inspiration with first up european designer, Bobo Choses and our favorite boutique shopping resource to covet it from, Shan and Toad.
Last season’s Bobo chunky knit cardigan was a perfect stowaway for this Fall with perfect stripes of mustard, teal & cherry red across the front & back. We layered it with our raw white long sleeve layering tee by Frank & Lu.
This season’s breeks trousers have a scrumptiously thick flannel feel to them yet remain slimmer cut and sleek when worn. The bold addition of the long sweater-ribbed cuffs make them a perfect Fall style statement.
We have been long-standing fans of Bobo’s crewneck fleeces, this season’s mystical forest crewneck was an instant hit with my little nature lover. Sized to be layered yet not overly boxy with the familiar feel of having it for years. The addition of suspenders to any outfit is an instant pop of fun & unexpected cool. Bobo Choses’ striped braces even have a bright red smiley face that was immediately pointed out & loved by Wynn.
Israel-based boutique, Shan and Toad has been our go-to source not only for Bobo Choses but also for their exquisite and outstanding portfolio of American & European designers. Owner, Shana Laub offers a supreme $5 flat rate shipping for US & Canada residents and every package that arrives is wrapped lovingly in tissue & tied with a bow. She is also quick to respond to any sizing & fit questions in addition to making recommendations that are taste-fitted to you & your little’s preferred fashion style.
We have been fans of Chicago-based, PRSPR for awhile now and finally had the opportunity to meet owner, Victoria Moy in person last weekend during her first Pop-Up sale event! Super cute, bubbly & incredibly friendly, it’s very apparent that Victoria has a true passion for kids fashion. Seeking out the unique, fun and above all comfortable styles only, every item that PRSPR carries is hand-selected by Victoria herself.
During her Pop-Up event we selected from the numerous fashion-filled racks, the All-Saints inspired askew button cardi in mustard, teal gingham print button-down & undeniably awesome mouse pants. Every item is cuddle-soft, well made and we especially love how the color palette of her current selections echo the Fall season. We were also told that a fresh batch of new arrivals are coming soon to her site. Most items are limited in quantity and are not restocked so if you see something you love, pull the trigger right away to avoid the risk of a sell out.

Lil’ Stylers is a fresh new app available for free on Itunes or the App Store & it may be the long-awaited answer to connecting parents everywhere who share a passion for kids fashion & style. By creating a forum specifically for parents, brands & bloggers, the hope here is to weed out the underage & the sketchy users that Instagram is a known hotbed for.
How many times have you posted a fantastic photo of your child, dressed to the nines or in sweet seasonal style only to be repeatedly asked, “what brand is her dress?” or “who makes those boots?” ~ through the addition of hashtagging, Lil’ Stylers allows users to instantly share that information with every photo they upload to their account. Eventually those tags will enable the user to purchase from or locate that brand’s website.
We have already uploaded several of Wynn’s style photos on Lil’ Stylers and found the app for the most part user friendly. As with any new program, clicking around the various menus will help you get familiar with how to use Lil’ Stylers.
After uploading your stylish Little, just click on the photo to tag the brands/designers that they are wearing! If a brand/designer is not listed in Lil’ Stylers drop down menu, you have the option to add them to the constantly growing list!
As for bloggers such as myself, it should be no secret that I have developed strong relationships with several brands/designers and boutiques ~ all based on quality, fit & the outstanding customer service they provide. As a Mom with 4 Littles aged 6 thru 21, I have been purchasing kids fashion for a very long time. As a blogger, I promote those brands & every new one that I discover (and love) with genuine statements & reviews for other Moms out there also looking to outfit their Littles in style.
I think Lil’ Stylers will become yet another fantastic resource for parents everywhere looking to find new brands/designers or simply searching to see how a particular brand/designer fits on a “real child”.
What do you think? Will you download the app and become a part of the Lil’ Stylers fashion revolution? Join the conversation with us on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/PopStreetKids
Until the ability to link hashtags to a shopping resource on Lil’ Stylers is functioning, please feel free to comment on any of our photos with “where to buy” and we will be thrilled to assist you!

In continuation with our “Feeling Fall – Style Inspiration” series, we present NYC-based designer, Frank & Lu. Earlier this year we had introduced you to the man (and the children) behind this up and coming label. Notorious for creating the best selling tee at his former venture, J. Crew, Michael Jarvela is no stranger to the fashion industry and it shows.
Frank & Lu “shawl peacoat” in butter soft stretch cotton twill is poly-lined for warmth. The addition of a moleskin collar & adjustable back tab make this the perfect go-to jacket all season long.
Frank & Lu “messenger jean” in black is lightweight twill crafted of 97% cotton 3% lycra to please even the sweats-only crowd. Interior adjustable waist & snap fly with a smooth slim fit will qualify these as a wardrobe staple.
Frank & Lu has without a doubt created the perfect layering tee. Each one is constructed of only the softest 100% cotton, lightweight & intentionally longer in the sleeves and hem to provide the perfect pop of color under everything. Slim & sleek fitting, Wynn is wearing 3 of their tees layered perfectly without any fuss and no added bulk at all.
Frank & Lu “long sleeve v neck in Mallard”, “long sleeve garment-dyed in Mineral”, “short sleeve exposed-seam pocket tee in Black”.
Frank & Lu “rib rollneck shawl sweater in dark grey” is the perfect casual or dressy piece. Ribbed cotton body with a reverse jersey collar for the perfect rolled shawl look. We layered this with Frank & Lu “long sleeve garment-dyed tee in Raw White”.
Frank & Lu “rib thermal v neck in Off White” is made of super soft cashmere-like cotton, so soft that it can be worn with or without a base layer. We layered ours with their “long sleeve garment-dyed tee in Mustard” for a perfect pop of Fall color.
For sizing reference, Wynn is perfectly wearing their Size 6 & 6/7 tops & jacket; Size 7 pants. He is 46″ tall, 43lbs.
Frank & Lu would like our friends on POP to experience their kids fashion line so are offering a generous 30% off all items with code “POPSTREET30” until October 4th. To shop with your code now & for more information on Frank & Lu, please visit them at http://www.frankandlu.com/

We are forever in search of cool kids fashion boutiques, often spending late nights on the web locating those that carry our favorite designers. Meet Sparkles & Suspenders, our new favorite and one that we anticipate to have a very long relationship with. Hannah Gorowitz launched her online boutique earlier this year after sending off child #5 to preschool. The name derived from her love of suspenders, her son wears them at least twice a week & “sparkles” for all the little girls. With time for herself now, she curated over 50 US & European kids fashion designers and brought them into one shopping mecca portal. From Fore! Axel and Hudson to euro designer IKKS, Sparkles & Suspenders carries fashion & footwear for Babies, Girls & Boys.
Prior to contacting Hannah, we did a secret test run of her boutique by ordering a pair of Bit’z Kids pants from her site. Shipping was incredibly fast, our pants were wrapped lovingly in bright tissue paper complete with a Sparkles & Suspenders thank you card! It was then that we knew we had found another shopping resource to add to our expanding fashion portfolio of style.
For this editorial, Hannah was so kind to send Wynn this Mini Shatsu classic black vest shirt. We chose to prep it up with a tie and Wynn loved how velvety-soft the vest front was. Lined down the front on the shirt & vest with silver Mini Shatsu logo snaps, we love how chic this shirt truly is & it’s available now at Sparkles & Suspenders!
With over 50 fabulous fashion designers to choose from, Sparkles & Suspenders is a boutique you will definitely want to check out for yourself! As a special treat to our readers, Hannah is offering Free Shipping on all orders valid thru 10/7 with code “popfree”.
For more information & to view all of the designers that Sparkles & Suspenders has to offer, please visit them at http://www.sparklesandsuspenders.com

Fall is by far the best season for Fashion & with our temps cooperating nicely we had the opportunity to go out & have a little fun with some of our favorite pieces from Wynn’s closet. At the end, please take a minute to be introduced to the photographer that took these photos. He’s one heck of an amazing young man that I am proud to know & a true inspiration to others, including myself.
Scotch Shrunk plaid snap down; Scotch Shrunk oil-wash artwork tee with rugby striped beanie; Scotch Shrunk slim chino; Crewcuts anchor belt; Next brogue lace up boots.
Stella McCartney lee jacket; La Miniatura born free hoodie; Bit’z Kids waxed skinny pants; Dr. Martens boots.
Photographing children is never an easy task, while I usually do it myself, for these photos I enlisted the help of 17yr old Jacob Kuziela. In the past, Jacob’s main subjects were non-moving, still & didn’t speak. He did a phenomenal job & displayed an extreme amount of patience with Wynn. Everyone has a story and I am thrilled to share Jacob’s with you!
At 13 years old, Jacob lost his father to cancer. Since that time he has wanted every single second of every day captured forever. As Jacob himself told me when I asked how he decided to start taking pictures, he said “I was always interested in photography, the way certain things looked when it was captured. One night I was taking the garbage can up and the sky just looked so gorgeous and I wanted to be able to keep that image forever. My pictures aren’t just pictures, they’re memories. I asked for a camera for Christmas and I got one and what ensued is many months of me expressing who I am with my photography.” I am so proud to call Jacob my friend. He is a true & genuine inspiring young man whom I see having a remarkable future in photography or anything else he sets out to do.

Earlier this Summer we had introduced you to our favorite resource for kids infinity scarves & now, Nora Gray Designs is back with a fresh collection just in time for Fall. Handmade from only the softest cotton & jersey knits, Nora Gray Designs has been taking the world by storm with their fun prints & outstanding customer service. We are loving the Chevron scarves in just about every color imaginable, plus if you’re looking to show off a little team spirit for your school, Nora Gray takes custom orders!
In addition to their new arrivals, several of their Summer prints & colors have been reduced so now is a fantastic time to stock up for those mid-winter vacation getaways or next Spring!
Recently one of our POP friends had commented on how her son would love to wear scarves but with the warmer climate they live in most scarves they have tried have been too heavy & much too hot for her little man. Nora Gray’s scarves are all lightweight, non-restricting and layer perfectly over any tee or shirt. For the adults, Nora Gray’s scarves are the perfect answer to those deep-vneck tees as added style or for when the temps drop.
As a wonderful welcome to Fall, Nora Gray Designs is giving away one of their newest designs, the maroon & orange moroccon knit kids infinity scarf as seen on Wynn!
