This is a call out to all you fashion angels. The ones who are inspired by, thrilled by & sent over the moon by fashion. The passion and the struggle is real. For this pictorial we present some of our favorite quotes because in nature is where Wynn is most comfortable and sometimes I can almost hear quotes like these speaking from his eyes. Maybe it’s the Native American in him or maybe he is just an old soul.

“The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hands of man”. Wynn wears Moi Kidz yellow tank top, Popupshop canvas army pants & Birkenstocks.
“All good things are wild and free”. Added to Wynn’s outfit is a Popupshop splash print hoodie.

Hiding the truth that a large portion of the US is currently covered in snow, we present a glimpse into what eventually all of the littles will have an opportunity to be wearing once the snow melts. Here in Los Angeles, the weather which is called “winter” has been mostly sunny & 75f degrees.
Wynn is wearing Baby Beast “Lil Homme” hat & logo hightop crew socks, both part of their upcoming Fall 2015 collection; Baby Beast was born in Detroit and crafted in LA by Zack Issa whose creative endeavors in celebrity styling have taken him across the country in both the music & sports arenas. Baby Beast is aimed at providing gender-neutral apparel and is made to be styled, layered & rocked by all kids age 2-10yrs.
On top, La Miniatura for Spring 2015 Golden Yellow Bomber Jacket & super soft Constellation tee. From 2011, designer & project runway season 3 winner, Jeffrey Sebelia has never once fallen off his course of providing clothing to dress your kid with dignity. His designs continue to thrill us and are a welcome stand out in the crowd. “Fashion Forward” words that are regularly associated with La Miniatura is comparable to receiving an Oscar with every new collection. Forward is the only way for fashion to face. For sizing reference, Wynn is wearing size 8 in both tee and jacket perfectly yet with room to grow.
Rowen Christian Couture launched just last year yet has already been making major waves in the boys denim department. Supreme attention to detail and quality is what has been setting Rowen Christian apart from the rest. In addition, they have continued their efforts at providing a better life experience for sick children through donating a portion of each sale to Paul Newman-founded, Roundup River Ranch. Wynn is wearing their new for Spring 2015 Brayden Classic Short which is extremely soft with a very luxurious feel. For sizing reference, Wynn is wearing size 7 with the waist slightly adjusted (great feature!).
Since day one…Dr. Martens (and Vans) have been on Wynn’s feet for a reason. They outlast every single one of his adventures and provide the level of comfort for his feet that he demands. For the Spring & Summer months, diehard fans can opt for canvas versus leather boots for the breathe ability factor. Wynn is wearing Dr. Martens Delaney in British Camo canvas.
We invite you to follow us on Instagram for more fashion inspiration for Spring & Fall 2015 by clicking here. In addition, all designers featured are also on Instagram and can be followed under the user names: Shopbabybeast, RowenChristian, LaMiniatura and DrMartensofficial.
If you are attending ENK Childrens Club in NYC March 1st-3rd, please be sure to stop by the booths of Baby Beast, La Miniatura & Rowen Christian for a complete look at their newest collections.
Our first fashion edit for 2015 features La Miniatura and their newest collection for Spring! We were given the opportunity to test-wear a few of their amazing designs prior to their worldwide public debut coming soon.
Brought back for Spring 2015 is their seersucker suits and seperates only this time with a dip-dye twist. Available in 3 colorways (black, navy, tan) with the same classic appeal and lofty-soft fabric. Pushing the kids fashion world forward is and always has been signature La Miniatura since day one.
Designer, Jeffrey Sebelia continues to satisfy the diehard Teddy Boys era fans like myself with the first ever foil-denim for boys and girls that at first glance appears to be made of oil slick leather. Exclusive only to La Miniatura– Cone Denim fabric with a 4-way stretch and adjustable waistband that stays true to form and supremely comfortable, even for those rebels that stick their noses up at the shear thought of wearing anything but sweatpants.
Punchy graphic tees that celebrate fashion and music trends of years gone by are the chosen ones for La Miniatura’s Spring 2015 collection. From the Punk Revolution era to the funky Roller Disco days, each one is constructed of silky soft fabric and dyed to withstand a multitude of washings and wearings.
Is there ever anything better than the real thing? Cult era logos like Chanel & Coca-Cola reappear in true fashion wearing style form. Fully licensed to La Miniatura and without a doubt a huge hit that spans numerous genres.
Printed button-downs, color block polos, plaid-infused shirts- all directed at keeping up with La Miniatura’s tagline of “Dress your kid with dignity”. Sleek cuts that are not too slender or too boxy with a fit that runs true to size.
Beatniks and little hipsters along with prepsters (don’t get it twisted, prepster and hipster are two totally different styles) can easily find comfort in buttoned-up polos and rolled up denim and presents as yet another nod to the Teddy Boys era!
We were given just six sneak peeks of their girls and boys collection to share with you. La Miniatura’s Spring 2015 collection will be shipping this month to fine retailers worldwide and will also be available online at www.laminiaturakids.com.
Modeled by Wynn Goldberg
*for sizing reference, Wynn is wearing La Miniatura sample size 6 perfectly and is also a Fit Model for their designs presenting as a perfect American Standard Size 6/7 across their entire boys collection. La Miniatura runs true to size with adjustable waistbands on all pants. Please feel free to email us if you need any assistance with sizing/fit questions.
The universe in it’s playful rhythm collided us with Warsaw, Poland based Kids on the Moon. An instant soul connection with their soft spoken color palette and richly soft wears. Unforgettable children’s fashion that we have become completely obsessed with.
Fine cut styles are classic and timeless. Kids on the Moon offers several pieces that are co-ed friendly and can easily be shared amongst brothers and sisters. Wynn is wearing their Brave New Boy polo in gray melange with a sleek, slim fit and tacked down turned up sleeves giving it a fancy twist on an otherwise wardrobe staple – paired with their Rebel Bottoms in anthracite which include an elasticized drawstring waist, exposed front button placket and bottom cuffs that can be turned up or left down. Both pieces are size 6yr and fit Wynn perfectly so there is no need to size up or down with Kids on the Moon. (for reference; Wynn is 47″ tall and 45lbs.)
Nothing up their sleeve, Kids on the Moon is pure, undone children’s fashion with no flashy graphics, no noisy colors and manufactured to uphold the multiple wash and wears that their clothing demands. Simplistic fashion at it’s absolute finest.
Wynn wears Kids on the Moon shortcut shorts in gray melange which are similar in appearance as their Rebel bottoms with a sleep-worthy comfort level. Quite possibly the most perfect shorts for Spring thru Fall, they also run true to size and Wynn is wearing size 6yr.
With an easy to match color palette, Kids on the Moon will harmoniously live with every single item in your little’s wardrobe. Wynn is wearing his Made Kids “if i ruled the world tee” with his shortcut shorts and Minnetonka double fringe boots.
Kids on the Moon would like for an amazing 5 of our Pop friends to experience their fashion firsthand by offering the pieces featured below as a giveaway! Winners will select their own sizes and you can enter thru our Rafflecopter listed below OR thru our Pop Street Kidz Instagram account by reposting the original editorial image with hashtag #moonpop. Giveaway ends on Thursday, June 5th at midnight cst.

During our last visit to the Children’s Club/ENK fashion show in NYC we had the pleasure of speaking to Victoria Stender of Bodega International. Bodega represents two of the most exquisite designers in childrens fashion & footwear: Popupshop and Ocra shoes. Popupshop of Denmark was founded in 2007 with the desire to create everlasting basic wear built on a solid foundation of sustainability and high quality. They produce two collections per year (Spring/Summer & Autumn/Winter) in timeless, classic designs that appeal to every fashion flavor. The majority of their pieces are meant to be mixed & matched as well as fun for children who insist upon dressing themselves.
Popupshop’s Spring/Summer collection is filled with deeply saturated photo real prints – Sharks, Tigers, Parrots & even an Astronaut! All of their clothing is produced with GOTS certification making it extremely soft, fade-resistant and above all eco-friendly. From their comfy wide-cut sweatshirts to their drop crotch jersey cotton pants, this is a collection that will be lived in all Summer long.
When it comes to outfitting their tiny toes, Italy-based Ocra puts forth every effort to remain true to nature. All of their shoes are handmade by Italian artisans using only the finest, vegetable-tanned leather. Any plastics that are utilized are 100% recycled & biodegradable.
“Back to Nature” is Ocra’s motto and with that every pair is not only in harmony with the environment but also with children’s feet. Since each pair is handmade, Ocra shoes are extremely flexible, always soft and stand up to miles of wear. For every collection, Ocra infuses color & patterns like no other shoe designer has. We are especially fond of their zig-zag striped booties available in several different colorways.
To introduce you to Euro fabulous fashion & footwear, Bodega International is giving away ONE Popupshop Tiger print girls Swimsuit (size 5/6) and ONE pair of Winged Boots (size euro 20 – US 5.5). We will be hosting this giveaway via rafflecopter below and for extra entries you can repost the prize flyer from our Pop Street Kidz instagram account with hashtag #winbodega. Please feel free to tag any friends that would love to enter as well!
For more information on Popupshop, please visit them on their website here they are also active on social media and can be followed on Facebook by clicking here and on Instagram please find them under user name Bodega International or click here.
We have been lovesick fans of Japan-originated Bit’z Kids since Wynn was a wee toddler. For Spring/Summer 2014 our love just grows stronger with fresh new graphic tees, vintage-inspired tanks & the sweetest dresses for girls! The obsession with Bit’z Kids came about once we discovered their “magic fit” pants & shorts. All of their bottoms for boys & girls are elasticized waistbands with faux hardware making them appear to be “big kid” status when catering especially well to the potty-training or always on the go set. Every item we have ever possessed from Bit’z Kids has withheld the test of time, washing, wearing & most importantly stood it’s ground when it came to Cool, Calm & Collected. Bit’z Kids has never been gender inclusive when it comes to colors us moms of boys actually do want in their closet such as gorgeous sunny yellow and purple.
Funky & fun is what Bit’z Kids strives for when it comes to kids fashion and they nail it every season. All of Bit’z Kids styles run true to the first size of their dual sizing system (Wynn wears their size 6/7 and is 46″ tall & 6yrs old).
Bit’z Kids would like all of our friends to enjoy 20% off all regular priced items now thru 3/31 with code POP20off at checkout! We can highly recommend all of their graphic tees & tanks for boys as well as their colorful lightweight cotton shorts (as seen on Wynn)!
*Photos were edited by Bit’z Kids for their worldwide 2014 Spring Fashion campaign that we are honored & thrilled to be a part of.
We spent our 1st day of Spring under a blanket of snow but old man winter has been given his eviction notice and we have chosen to close our eyes & dream of the smell of freshly cut grass, the sweet sound of the birds singing & much warmer temperatures. The forecast for Spring style based on many kids fashion collections that we have gushed over is deeply saturated colors with very few pastels being seen. Great news for those of us, like myself, who actually prefer the dark over the light. Having said all this, the lightest shade (sans white) we are connecting with for our own Spring/Summer wardrobe is chambray – an almost denim-washed out sorta blue that magically meshes with every other color imaginable. As luck would have it, Appaman presents our favorite go-to Mod Suit year after year in…yes Chambray.
We are painfully aware that many of you include a suit into your kids wardrobe based solely on a special occasion coming up and once that occasion has ended the suit hangs in the dark, lonely and confused as to what it did to deserve only that one shot at success. “Saving it for Good” something my Grandmother would do and seriously, why?!? Isn’t every day a Good Day? It should also be noted that Appaman’s Mod Suit is…wait for it, Machine Washable (dry flat to retain its fabulous shape). The Fancy, presented above and the usual suspect way of wearing a suit. Wynn’s style is played out with a white Crewcuts dress shirt, Liberty of London for Crewcuts floral print tie (love) & classic Crewcuts wingtips.
For those chappy fun times like trips to the museum, city exploring or even a casual afternoon lunch at a real restaurant (introduce them early to finer dining, they will thank you later when they go on their first date). We’ve styled our Appaman Mod Suit with a Bobo Choses graphic tee, black Timberland boots & added in our funky Pilot hat.
Snap back to reality, this slim shady here prefers Cool, Calm & Collected. Appaman’s Mod Suit owns all three of those licks and proves it every season. We’ve put our Mod Suit blazer over a Mini & Maximus hooded tee, Zara denim jeans, Doc Marten boots & H&M baller cap.
Beverly Hills or Main Street USA, for those of you that breathe the sixteen candles lifestyle this one’s for you! Appaman Mod Suit pants paired with Crewcuts pindot button down & Primigi black patent loafers. Socks or no Socks? Totally up to you, true preppies go sock free.
A weekend at Bernie’s or a backyard summer bbq calls for the tropical flavor of florals. Keep it classy by still wearing your Appaman Mod Suit. Push up the sleeves, roll up the pants – we’ve styled ours with this Hawaiian-inspired number by Furious Kingston and while you can’t see his feet he is wearing his Crewcuts wingtips with the pants rolled up – twice!
The dock of the bay, afternoon walks on the beach (still too cold to swim) or an outing with the grandparents (take me to the zoo please), we all know how much the grandparents love to see your kids in something other than a tee & jeans. Spiff them up and maybe they will take them out more often (score!). Wynn wears the pants (pun intended) with his Scotch Shrunk C’Mon floral print tee, Milk & Soda straw fedora with Livie & Luca sandals.
6 ways to wear it…..now stop saving it for good! Our favorite boutique since 2008 for Appaman is The Boys Store and they are currently offering 35% off all New Spring Arrivals (including Appaman’s mod suit) with code Spring14. Tell them we sent ya.
*for sizing reference, Wynn is wearing a size 7 Appaman Mod Suit (wee bit roomy however ours will not feel the warmth of Spring until May which is when us blokes in the Midwest actually have “spring” temps).
Orange County, CA based Tiny Whales is taking us on a trip back to the 90’s with their newest collection for Spring/Summer 2014. Comparable to a gritty, sin-filled trip to Las Vegas, yes we’re talking about the 90’s where the fully licensed motto of “anything goes” originated.
Kicking, screaming and an all out warfare on fashion, Tiny Whales represents with fond memories of their own “angstie” (their word) time of 90’s living. Poking their artistic stick at Nirvana, Tiny Whales has re-designed one of the most widely recognized 90’s tees into a kid & kitten-friendly “Meowvana” tee.
Hard, unguarded loving paired with the desire to be somebody only to settle into a mediocre lifestyle is played out again in Tiny Whale’s nod to indie rock band, Built to Spill’s “Kicked it in the Sun”. All of Tiny Whales’ graphics are printed in Orange County on trim cut, true to size, supersoft tees that resist fading. Every collection contains a window into whatever the current vibe was at the time for designers Shaun & Brittany Wagoner paired with inspiration from their two daughters (ages 3 & 13months).
Tiny Whales now signature Sasquatch reappears for this collection holding up his boombox in perfect 90’s cult classic, “Say Anything” stance. It’s difficult to not instantly hear lovesick actor John Cusack profess, “I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen”. Heartbreak warfare at it’s finest.
In addition to the designs featured above, Tiny Whales covers all of the 90’s bases with their “Wildflower Soul”, “Wild Vibe”, personal favorite “Buzz Kill” along with several other surefire graphics that your littles will love wearing all Spring & Summer long. Tiny Whales wants one of our Pop friends to experience a bite of the 90’s as well so is giving away one Winner’s Choice tee, enter thru the rafflecopter widget below. Starts now & ends Thursday, Feb13th at midnight cst.

Rock star style is just one of many ways for kids to express themselves through fashion. We are saluting, horns up, rock’n’roll in our first of many Spring Style Inspiration editorials. The Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago provided the perfect backdrop and was overly accommodating in filling up our thirst for classic rock’n’roll. We didn’t need no stinkin’ badges to explore every floor of the hotel. Grown men stopped in their tracks, gave Wynn the “horns up” and one even went into an air guitar playing frenzy while telling us about when he saw AC/DC bring the house down in Detroit. Little Angus Young, aka Wynn, wears Jagged Culture’s Beautiful Disaster blazer with tuxedo shorts paired with Crewcuts rugby striped tie, Milk & Soda Hello fold back cap, Tom & Drew tuxedo shirt & black Timberland boots. Macklemore has proven time and time again that fur is not just for the cold (nor only for girls). The ceiling couldn’t hold Wynn’s furlicious style in Jagged Culture’s “my life my rules” (exactly) tee, Zara fur vest & Duke of London’s lemon yellow cut offs. Whoever said that scuba masks were only for diving really doesn’t know how to have a good time, which is exactly what fashion should be – fun & carefree while still maintaining the cool, calm & collected.
Super bangin’ accessories are what will keep things shook up all Spring & Summer long. Jagged Culture’s jersey cotton skull print scarf is light enough to go anywhere your own little kings & queens of cool take it, paired with Jagged Culture’s camo skull tee , Sudo kids fireball jeans and Timberland boots. As a special reward for being awesome, Jagged Culture has extended their 30% off site-wide sale through Jan25th. Use code ROCKON14 at checkout. For even more rock star style inspiration, visit our POP Style board on Pinterest.
Coming up next we have a new Dutch favorite, Haas and even more Spring Style Inspiration!
