Seersucker suits and separates have long been a Summer time love. Generations have continously kept this airy, rippled fabric for weddings, parties and semi-casual events. For this Spring/Summer, La Miniatura re-introduces the feeling of safety and home with classic seersucker in Navy or Tan dip-dye for the boys and Pink dip-dye for the girls.
From a classic plaid button down pairing to a super casual graphic tee, seersucker fabric transforms easily and instantly. Cool, calm and collected. The 3 fashion keys that keep almost all boys in check with whatever you assist in selecting for them to wear.
Printed, lightweight oxford cotton shirts have become an instant favorite – alone or for layering under suits and over tees. Introduce new colors into your son’s wardrobes this Spring/Summer. It is the perfect time to flash all colors of the rainbow and get them accustomed to selecting more than just blue or green on their own.
La Miniatura will be releasing their Spring/Summer 2015 collection for Boys & Girls in early February at fine retailers worldwide. For updates and additional information, you can follow them on Instagram by clicking here or Facebook here. Also visit their website at www.laminiaturakids.com

Those of you that have been around POP Street Kidz for awhile know that I along with Amy & Stephanie are straight up, no BS shooters! When a designer or product is promoted on our Facebook page or website, we solidly stand behind it 100%. With 9 kids between the 3 of us, we’ve been around the block enough to know what floats our boats, trips our triggers and is simply worthy enough of our undying attention & promotion.
Earlier this year we had the extremely phenomenal opportunity to conduct a telephone interview with the mastermind behind boys clothing line, La Miniatura. In case you missed the results of our chat with Jeffrey Sebelia you can still check it out here http://popstreetkidz.com/wp/?p=73 ~ Jeffrey and his amazing business partner, Stacey were apparently very pleased with the article as they sent my 5yr old son, Wynn a box full of La Miniatura goodies! We have mixed & matched them up with other staple pieces from Wynn’s wardrobe to bring you some Back to Cool styles that we think you will love!
Mr. Fancy Pants is wearing La Miniatura’s 2pc Suit in Gray Chambray from their Spring 2012 collection paired with Wynn’s soft pink oxford button-down by H&M, Dark charcoal tie by Appaman and indigo blue loafers by Venettini. We have popped the collar, unbuttoned the shirt a bit and loosened up his tie for the ultimate Ascot-style or brooding bad boy appearance! Later we will take this same blazer and layer it over anything from graphic tees to hoodies! Pants can also be worn seperately for less conservative occasions making this 2pc suit a must-have for any boy’s wardrobe.
Backwoods strolling in a supremely soft laser-owl graphic tee by La Miniatura, paired with their military Crayon Denim from Spring 2012, Sudo Childrenswear vest, brown suede hat by Furious Kingston and Next brown leather biker boots. La Miniatura’s crayon denim, while slim/skinny fitting, contains 4% lycra for the best stretch-appeal ever! Wynn jumped, ran and jumped some more easily in them and commented that he loved their “stretchy feel”.
La Miniatura’s regular fit, which is still slim and very straight, denim jeans fit a wee bit on the bigger side than their Crayon Denim. Wynn spent several minutes (hours to a 5yr old) inspecting every little detail of the colorful menagerie inside La Miniatura’s octopus graphic tee. With the cool air finally blowing where we live, La Miniatura’s trucker jacket was the perfect addition to this outfit! Rugged twill cotton with the softest, velour-like cotton accents instantly made this jacket a hit with me and Wynn both! In addition, we have stripped our J.Crew/Crewcuts McAllister boots of their laces for a more fun & much easier to get on/off appearance!
Gym days or just relaxing at home does not have to be unstylish or boring thanks to La Miniatura’s 2pc hooded sweatshirt and cargo pants ~ both are made from the softest cotton in the best jaspe gray (hides stains!) and the addition of the colorful, sometimes scary Sasquatch makes it that much cooler. We styled this with a lilac-blue skull print button-down shirt by H&M and Diesel side-zip kicks.
In addition to Friday night football games, we love roasting marshmallows, making s’mores & telling insanely scary ghost stories around our homemade firepit! Have you ever heard the one about the super tall & creepy Sasquatch-man that ran amuck in the forest chasing after all the littles in an attempt to snatch their Super Hero goggles?!! Don’t worry, he was caught and Wynn’s La Miniatura shirt is proof! Paired with La Miniatura’s military Crayon Denim and a french blue button-down shirt by H&M, calm cool & collected!
We thoroughly enjoy every single piece of La Miniatura that we own, in addition to the cutting edge style, the quality is fantastic and made to outlast little boys everywhere, including Wynn!
For sizing reference, Wynn is 3’8 (44″) and weighs 40lbs. he is wearing Size 6 in all La Miniatura items featured except for the Trucker Jacket is a Size 8.
