The absolute best time of the year for fashion and style is quickly approaching. Fall fashion allows for layers upon layers, pops of fire based colors, chunky well loved, well worn boots, tattered yet sophisticated scarves and hats. Fall is by far our most favorite of all the seasons and even though we live in Los Angeles, we seek out the spaces that resemble it in appearance.
Our first looks come from a far away land, across the pond in Germany.
Infantium Victoria, founded 2014 by Julia Gaydina and Dinie van den Heuvel, specializes in the design of high-end organic and vegan fashion for kids.
Influenced by a deep fascination for romantic themes and nostalgia, Infantium Victoria offers a true alternative to mainstream fast-fashion – not only aesthetically but also ethically.
Romantic hues of Fall. Lush hunter green velvet blazer by Infantium Victoria is an artistic interpretation of the beloved Chesterfield Sofa. It’s padded with organic kapok and lined with fine cotton poplin. This is the statement piece that will bring every Fall thru Winter outfit they wear to the forefront of style.

*Wynn is 4’8 for sizing reference he is wearing size 12 in the blazer and jumpsuit. For jumpsuit, we suggest a size down as it runs generous.

The universe in it’s playful rhythm collided us with Warsaw, Poland based Kids on the Moon. An instant soul connection with their soft spoken color palette and richly soft wears. Unforgettable children’s fashion that we have become completely obsessed with.
Fine cut styles are classic and timeless. Kids on the Moon offers several pieces that are co-ed friendly and can easily be shared amongst brothers and sisters. Wynn is wearing their Brave New Boy polo in gray melange with a sleek, slim fit and tacked down turned up sleeves giving it a fancy twist on an otherwise wardrobe staple – paired with their Rebel Bottoms in anthracite which include an elasticized drawstring waist, exposed front button placket and bottom cuffs that can be turned up or left down. Both pieces are size 6yr and fit Wynn perfectly so there is no need to size up or down with Kids on the Moon. (for reference; Wynn is 47″ tall and 45lbs.)
Nothing up their sleeve, Kids on the Moon is pure, undone children’s fashion with no flashy graphics, no noisy colors and manufactured to uphold the multiple wash and wears that their clothing demands. Simplistic fashion at it’s absolute finest.
Wynn wears Kids on the Moon shortcut shorts in gray melange which are similar in appearance as their Rebel bottoms with a sleep-worthy comfort level. Quite possibly the most perfect shorts for Spring thru Fall, they also run true to size and Wynn is wearing size 6yr.
With an easy to match color palette, Kids on the Moon will harmoniously live with every single item in your little’s wardrobe. Wynn is wearing his Made Kids “if i ruled the world tee” with his shortcut shorts and Minnetonka double fringe boots.
Kids on the Moon would like for an amazing 5 of our Pop friends to experience their fashion firsthand by offering the pieces featured below as a giveaway! Winners will select their own sizes and you can enter thru our Rafflecopter listed below OR thru our Pop Street Kidz Instagram account by reposting the original editorial image with hashtag #moonpop. Giveaway ends on Thursday, June 5th at midnight cst.

Living in what could easily be compared to Antarctica these last several days has us a bit off and a whole lot of crazy. Snowed in, -14f with a windchill of -40f and before you know it everything is funny and the only escape when you have a 6yr old is music, silly dancing, headbanz game (he cheats) and food (as in cookies, root beer and anything else that keeps him content & quiet). After chasing down a snowplow yesterday and with the temps up to 18f we finally were able to break out of our prison for a little fashion fun. With a direct nod to the man we have adored since our own youth, the one and only King of POP – Wynn wears Bravado for Crewcuts Michael Jackson tee, paired with Frank & Lu Fine Gauge Zip cardigan (currently 50% off with code AFTERXMAS50), Bit’z Kids Skinny Pants, Primigi silver loafers, Jagged Culture’s Music Fedora & silver studded belt from Target (girls section). Dropping beats in true popstar fashion as we do – Wynn wears Jagged Culture’s Drum Kit tee, Crewcuts solid royal blue button down & Holt and Lulu’s Gentleman’s Vest from Sparkles & Suspenders.
Afternoon lunch or evening dinners with VIPs can be tastefully consumed in easy to wear style thanks to Paul Smith Junior multi-striped button down & Del Lago Italy midnight velvet blazer (both available at Mon Petit Child) paired with Polarn O. Pyret colored skinny pants. Cool, calm & collected!Funky pop style to match this smooth operator’s personality – Appaman black roll bounce jacket, Michael Jackson graphic tee layered over Paul Smith Junior striped button down & Polarn O. Pyret skinny pants. Keeping kids comfortable & in style is key when it comes to the fashion choices you make for them and with them. From pop stars, punks, prepsters, fancy or just straight up whatever their imaginations come up with – diversity in style is the road that will take them to who they truly are and keep them there.

Marloe Jr. should be a familiar name to you by now after their participation in our Favorite Things Holiday Giveaway in addition to us promoting them long ago on our pinterest boards! We are thrilled to come back to our fashion reality and share with you our personal experience with this fabulous Swedish designer!
All 3 fashion keys have been turned when it comes to Marloe Jr. for Wynn – Cool, Calm & Collected, add in non-restrictive, sleek cotton fabrics and stripes (his favorite) which is just a touch of what Marloe Jr. has to offer when it comes to their prints & designs.
The number one question, after multiple compliments, we always receive whenever posting funky cool pants like these is, “what to wear with them?” The answer is pretty much anything – Marloe Jr. designer, Anneli Nedholm set out to create & inspire a fun, carefree & overall comfy lifestyle in kids fashion.
Wynn wears their Navy/Burgundy striped baggy pants coming soon for Spring 2014 paired with a black graphic tee by MadeKids. Any & all footwear goes with pants like these, today we chose our black Primigi loafers & scrunched up the bottom hems for our dreams of warm weather adventures. The addition of a sleeveless zipped sweat for a tad bit cooler temps – this one in navy by Zara and he’s still looking fresh. Layering is always key regardless of where you live and instead of taking the easy route of throwing on a light jacket, try utilizing various pieces from your little’s wardrobe instead. One of my favorite color combinations is navy, burgundy & purple! We layered a solid lilac button down from Crewcuts over the tee & hoodie which instantly brings a little bit of fancy to our otherwise casual outfit. We still have room for an additional layer, so if the temps call for it, we would put on a cotton blazer or chic leather jacket for the ultimate layering in style. In addition to top layers, socks & chunky boots like Timberland or Docs also work extremely well with pants like these!
In addition to funky pants & leggings, Marloe Jr. also houses graphic tees, bleached out denim & printed beanies. Marloe Jr. is an All-Skate fashion line for kids meaning it easily flows between both boys & girls wardrobes.

*for sizing reference, Wynn is wearing size 130 with room to grow & is 46″ tall.
Southern California is weird when it comes to their weather, similar to where we live so with our layering skills in-tact we brought along our favorite layering options for fancy to casual cool style.
Airplane travel attire for Wynn included an easy to spot Paul Smith Junior multi-colored shirt, IKKS royal blue trousers, Paul Smith Junior Rabbit high tops (all available at MonPetit Child) and Mini Rodini leather biker jacket (available at Alex and Alexa). We swanked it up with his favorite rhino-print silk bow tie from ShopBelle. While at the LAX airport we ran into Tim Tebow! He thought Wynn had swag and we think he’s pretty cool too!
Shopping at 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica meant another round of “stand out” style. In a sea of the same, Wynn definitely caught attention in his Shampoodle plaid Punk Pants & Vicious Wear organic cotton military sweater. For the most comfortable, easy to run in loafers – Primigi has been our #1 for years along with super fun printed socks by Bit’z Kids.
Venice Beach is like entering another universe, we could spend hours just watching the cool & interesting people that hang out there. Wynn wore his Duke of London bello hood paired with acid wash denim by Vicious Wear & his Jagged Culture straw Music print fedora. During our visit with the amazing designer behind Jagged Culture, Berlyn Valdez, she introduced us to Timberland boots. Having been long die-hard fans of Dr. Martens this was not an easy takeover but we are thrilled to report that Wynn loved them and has instantly made them his new favorites!
Active little boys are known to get dirty (or wet when they decide to run into the ocean) so we always have an extra set of style packed for Wynn. La Miniatura’s army chimp lightweight tee (available from The Boys Store) paired with Vicious Wear cool kids jeans was an easy change into.
Hanging out in Manhattan Beach calls for casual, comfortable style. Wynn wore his new tee from Made Kids paired with Czesiociuch harem pants (and his new favorite boots). For our visit to the pier, which can easily get chilly, Wynn wore his extra cozy asym sweatshirt by Mimobee, which has passed the wash & wear-ability test with flying colors and is the one sweatshirt he requests to wear over & over again, easy to move in Black dyed harems by Funky Legs & Aviator Nation beanie.
For our special evening out at the Bollare Timberland Event as invited guests by our new friend, Berlyn Valdez of Jagged Culture, Wynn fit right in with the other rockstars in his Jagged Culture drum kit tee, Shampoodle punk pants, Mini Rodini jacket & yes, of course Timberland boots.
We are excited for our upcoming move to Los Angeles, we feel right at home when it comes to our personal fashion choices and the friends we have already made there mean everything to us.
Last week we were on another trip to what we will be calling “home” very soon – Los Angeles, California. With friends already established in Hollywood, we rang up Berlyn Valdez, owner & designer of Jagged Culture Kids for a visit to her kids fashion boutique. We were beyond thrilled that she was available to hang out with us and give us a personal tour of her store!
Berlyn, with the addition of two talented & lovely ladies, designs & creates every single Jagged Culture piece directly on site. Each item is hand-stitched, hand-designed and done so with an ultimate desire to produce fashion that kids will love to wear. Berlyn presented Wynn with her extremely limited dinosaur hoodie which instantly had him (well us, per his demands) looking up which dinosaur belonged to the bones on his new hoodie. Inspired – Wynn was inspired by a piece of clothing. How many kids fashion brands can you say that about?!?
While visiting we also got to meet the ever faithful guard dog of Jagged Culture – Dakota! Super fluffy and extremely friendly, even Wynn who is normally timid around dogs other than his own, instantly fell in love.
Jagged Culture has in-house fashion for babies, girls & boys paired with a multitude of accessories including fedoras & rockstar jewelry. We know from our previous experience with Jagged Culture that all of their fashion pieces hold up outstandingly well wash after wash in addition to being buttery soft.
We are so happy to have made another new friend in California! We cannot wait until we make the official move and can visit Berlyn & Dakota again. We took our new dinosaur hoodie & Jagged Culture straw fedora to Venice Beach receiving mad compliments down the entire boardwalk & on the beach!
